Our consultant Renata Daudt holds credentials as a packaging consultant from the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) and the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).
She has worked for over 15 years in the packaging industry in Europe, America and APAC.
Renata is an internationally experienced engineer specialising in the Australian Waste & Recycling system, ANZ Packaging Regulations and APCO obligations.

What is the APCO Annual Report?The APCO Annual Report is an obligation for all Brand Owners, SME’s and Packaging Manufacturers & Suppliers who are members of APCO.

What is the ARL Annual Report?All organisations who have agreed to the ARL Terms & Conditions are required to complete an annual ARL Report for the previous calendar year, indicating how many SKUs were assessed and labelled via the ARL Program in Australia and/or New Zealand.

What is the APCO Action Plan?Following the submission of the APCO Annual Report, members must then complete an APCO Action Plan in order to ensure ongoing commitments towards more sustainable packaging.

When the APCO Annual Report Deadline?The APCO Annual Report is due by 31st March each year, commencing in the financial year following the year in which a company becomes a Signatory.

When the ARL Annual Report Deadline?The ARL Annual Report is due by 31st March each year, commencing in the financial year following the year in which a company becomes a Signatory.

When the APCO Action Plan Report Deadline?The APCO Action Plant Report is due by 31st May each year, commencing in the financial year following the year in which a company becomes a Signatory.

What happens if I don’t do the report?Not completing the report before the deadline will result in an organisation entering the non- compliance procedure and the business can be removed from the Covenant signatory.

How much will it cost to get support on the reports?Each report support by specialised consultant costs $4,500.00 AUD (excl. GST) however if you book all 3 services together you will get 25% off. Service Package (3 reports) costs $10,990.00 AUD (incl. GST)

What’s involved from me?We will have 4 online meetings (1 hour each) to take you through the Reporting Tool and guide you on the information needed to complete the Annual Report before the 31st of March. The meetings must be schedule before the 31st of March. We will have 4 online meetings (1 hour each) to take you through the Reporting Tool and guide you on the information needed to complete the ARL Report before the 31st of March. The meetings must be schedule before the 31st of March. We will have 4 additional online meetings to take you through the Action Plan due by 31st of May. The meetings to work on the Action Plan will be schedule from April 2024 onwards to be completed before the 31st of May. You will be asked to provide access to your APCO Member Centre.

What happen if I don’t book all the meetings before the deadline?The meetings must be complete before 31st March and 31st May for the Annual Report and Action Plan respectively.

How long will the process take?Four weeks with your full commitment collecting the data needed to complete each report. As soon as you book the service we schedule the first meeting to explain the process and you can start collecting the information needed. We are available by email during the four weeks to answer you any questions you may have.

How do you protect the data shared?The privacy policy can be reviewed here. Additionally, an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) can be signed before the first meeting if requested.
